Rob identifies himself as a lapsed potter. He trained on Cape Cod under a potter trained by an internationally known Japanese ceramic artist. That’s why creating True Black Ceramic toner and CerPrint has been a passion. He’s now working on a blue ceramic toner and a high iron decal printer that uses waterslide decal paper and lamination.

Rob graduated from Miami of Ohio with degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering. During the tech boom, he became director of engineering for a printing company. When the boom went bust, he combined his chemical and printing knowledge to manufacture high iron toners. These toners run in Ricoh laser printers printing checks and other financial instruments.
